7 Citation Compliance Used For Writing Dissertation

Citation compliance for dissertation writing is a regulatory compliance that every PhD candidate has to follow. However, there exist different compliances and it is important for the candidate to choose one and stick with it for his entire paper. APA- this is the American Psychological Style and is a very common citation compliance used by the candidates who are in social science. Here, the surname of the authors has to be capitalized. Chicago- the Chicago Manual of Style is used for formatting citations and documents. The 16th edition is followed in universities like Murdoch University, University of Illinois, University of Chicago and others.

Turabian- this style is similar to the Chicago Manual of Style and is used in writing the author-date style and the bibliography style. It is also followed by University of Chicago, Georgetown University, University of Illinois, University of Denver and many others.
