1. Have an eye on your supervisor if you feel something is wrong, go for a change. Right advice is the very first thing that you need. Your mentor should be easy to talk to, dependable, able to give detailed feedback, should be responsive to your queries. Else it will not work.

2. You should always be prepared for confusion and disappointments. Because, if you are preparing a dissertation, then you might tell your family, friends, and others about it. They might give you suggestions which is sometimes not acceptable by you and can create confusion. Always remember that they aren’t experts. So, go with the thoughts of your supervisor, or of your own.

3 .Don’t try to copy anyone; do your own task. Sometimes, you may feel that a friend of yours is giving more time and effort than you, in his/her dissertation then why not you? Instead be confident that everyone has their own criteria for work.

4 .Sometimes after doing lot of hard work, you may feel that you need to rework again. The thought of rework may come because of stress, tension and fear of doing ultimate work. Don’t give so much weight age to it. Until and unless, your work is totally a mess or your supervisor also feels the same and suggested you for a rework.

6 .Be specific and too the point. Everyone knows that writing dissertation is a long way to go, but always try to explain what is necessary and needed. Send rest of the matter to the Archive!

7. Last but not the least, Prepare a nice documentation of your work. Give a fine finishing; it will worth of your hard work. Be confident and feel proud for what all you have done. That’s it!
